The Opportunity

  • This is a remote position
  • Qualified candidates must currently live in the territory preferably near a major airport. The territory covers Washington, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, or Nevada.
  • Must be able to travel up towards 50%

What Youll Work On

Ensure that the assigned district meets or exceeds sales and profitability objectives. Formulate sales strategies for markets within the assigned geography and product lines to attain revenue goals set by the company. Work with Account Executives to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential and to establish and achieve their annual sales objectives. Manage and coach the activities of Account Executives and Ambassadors. Negotiate contracts with external customers. Keeps the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity. Responsible for the management and implementation of company policies.

  • Provide holistic leadership over pre and post sales process to ensure implementation success and ongoing customer loyalty
  • Plan and communicate scheduled business updates both to leadership as well as set expectation for direct staff.
  • Anticipate competitor response scenarios and initiate preemptive strategies and tactics to gain share or grow market share faster than direct market competitors.
  • Leverage competitor/industry knowledge, as well as build stakeholder networks, to facilitate execution of local business plans and build the business, sales revenue and market share. Identify new business opportunities to expand current Core Diagnostics share.
  • Drive value creation and to deliver outstanding day-to-day service to existing customers in a district thereby increasing economic profitability, customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate long term contracts, assist Ambassadors and Account Executives with contract negotiations, particularly with pricing/profitability policies.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop organizational talent.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • Create an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Provide direction and guidance to Account Executives and Ambassadors who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
  • Keep the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action.
  • Demonstrate effective change leadership.
  • Build strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Make decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules to achieve district and regional objectives.
  • Develop, monitor, and appropriately adjust the annual budget for department(s).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 7 years prior related experience overall; knowledge of medical devices and/or capital sales preferred
  • Experience working in a quality system-driven organization and environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
  • Ability to influence team member activities
  • Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics
  • Strong solution selling and relationship building skills
  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues
  • Excellent product and industry knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree
  • 10+ years direct experience in medical devices and/or capital sales
  • Experience establishing, leading, coaching and developing a team of high performing representatives that can execute and exceed sales plan and goals. (People management and coaching experience)
  • Mastery level experience managing customer accounts
  • Long-term, strategic focus on account
  • Portfolio management skills
  • Proven success at winning contracts

The base pay for this position is $111,300.00 $222,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
