Job Overview:

The Pump Sales Rep is a technical sales individual contributor role, responsible for selling hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, representing Dosatron International in multiple markets with distributors and end users. The focus is on maintaining and enhancing the company's reputation, technology and bottom-line business vitality through ongoing sales efforts sanctioned at the corporate level.

Successful candidates will have an approachable and assertive communication style, engaging effectively with employees, management teams, and customers to proactively address their needs. The ideal candidate is a sales rep with a successful track record. They must also be goal-oriented, excelling in time management and prioritization.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new sales by acquiring new customers and motivating existing clients in industrial applications.
  • Oversee diverse accounts including distributors, dealers, and end users to drive growth.
  • Attend distributor sales meetings, seminars, trade shows, and conduct one-on-one or small group trainings.
  • Utilize CRM to track inquiries, quotes, bids, customer correspondence, and contacts.
  • Promote the organization to new customers, ensuring strategic growth objectives are met, and maintain updated forecasts.
  • Cultivate customer relationships to expand penetration in different geographic areas and industries.
  • Manage, motivate, and train channel customers and the distributor network.
  • Implement plans for new business, follow up on leads, and leverage networking for substantial business growth.
  • Develop and execute new product launches and enhancement plans.
  • Offer technical and product support through field visits, phone calls, or electronic communication, directing customers or distributors to resources like schematics, price lists, and videos.

Requirements:

  • 4-year bachelor's degree with 5+ years of distribution sales experience and a proven track record.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and/or irrigation sales.
  • Previous experience in technical sales and solution sales.
  • Ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels within a customer company.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and stakeholder management, with the ability to compile data in an effective manner.
  • Ability to work independently to solve internal and external customers concerns.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex orders/projects and various stages of the order process.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

  • This is a remote position, with up to 50% as required by the business environment.

Pay Range:

The total pay range for this role, not including incentive opportunities, is $75,000-95,000. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
