We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Director of Sales Finance to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in driving our growth and profitability. This role will act as a key business partner to Commercial Leadership teams, providing critical insights to drive profitable growth, optimize trade spend, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in consumer product manufacturing and a strong understanding of the complexities of customer pricing, trade promotions, and margin management.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Collaborate closely with US Domestic Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams to provide financial leadership and insight.
  • Partner with Sales to execute pricing strategies, improve ROI of promotions, perform margin analysis and manage volume/mix impact to drive profitable growth.
  • Build financial models and tools to evaluate promotional lift, customer profitability, and channel strategies.
  • Partner with Sales in strategic decision making to convert opportunities and mitigate risks within the IBP process including identification of trends, risks, and opportunities in sales data.
  • Evaluate Incremental Funding Requests for financial viability and evaluate trade-off decisions across a variety of scenarios to ensure the highest and best utilization of trade funds.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment of budgets, forecasts and long-term plans with sales strategies.
  • Manage all channels across the United States including monitoring for cross-channel pricing risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting packages for senior leadership.
  • Manage month end close and forecasting routines in partnership with the broader finance team.
  • Collaborate with IT / Finance on identifying and implementing business systems necessary to meet reporting requirements.
  • Provide thought leadership to identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports as required to support business decisions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales finance analysts and managers.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on sales finance, brand finance and strategic financial management.
  • Consumer products industry experience preferred
  • Proven experience in a leadership role with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, primarily Excel & Power Point.
  • Experience with ERP and financial planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle EPM Planning and Budgeting platform (EPBCS), Hyperion) is a plus.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $162,000-226,800 annually.
