Job Title:Corporate Business Development Specialist 1Department:Engineering | Center for Automotive Research

Assists leadership and help develop and maintain relationships with corporate and foundation sponsors in the automotive and mobility industry; assists leadership to build a network of business contacts and interacts with the automotive and mobility industries and other organizations interested in automotive engineering and mobility research; collaborates to manage recruitment and retention of members in Center for Automotive Research (CAR) research consortium;; participates in developing and executing an automotive industry relations strategy and plan for CAR by working with the Director and center leadership team to identify strategic goals

Required:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience;

Experience Required:

0-2 years automotive industry experience in various operational positions with executive level engagement and/or in an executive rank; demonstrated experience contributing to the translation of new discoveries into practical innovations for the marketplace across a broad range of technologies; must possess outstanding organizational, technical, and communications skills and be capable of deploying these skills

The target hiring range for this job profile is $24.52- $32.21. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
