Location Manager, Vehicle Rental

TITLE:  Site Operations / Location Manager, Vehicle Rentals

SALARY:  $95,000 - $115,000 + variable bonus

ABOUT:

Our client, a growing company in the electrified transportation and mobility sector, is looking for a dynamic Site Manager to lead operations and oversee a team of customer support associates. This role requires a driven, hands-on leader with a passion for efficiency, team development, and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet and exceed key business goals, including rental rates, revenue, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Hire, train, and assess customer support and fleet staff to ensure top performance.
• Oversee customer interactions, rental processes, vehicle returns, and repossessions.
• Process payroll, manage PTO requests, and support employee development.
• Ensure vehicle readiness and fleet availability.
• Address and resolve customer concerns efficiently.
• Identify top talent, conduct interviews, and onboard new team members.
• Provide weekly updates on performance and operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (preferred).
• 4+ years' experience in rental car operations, logistics, or transportation.
• 3+ year' leadership experience, ideally in a tech-driven or operationally complex environment.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with sound judgment.
• Excellent collaboration and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g. Google Sheets), including experience building models and tracking key performance metrics.
• Ability to leverage data insights to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
